收稿范围 | Cytometry Part A, the journal of quantitative single-cell analysis, features original research reports and reviews of innovative scientific studies employing quantitative single-cell measurement, separation, manipulation, and modeling techniques, as well as original articles on mechanisms of molecular and cellular functions obtained by cytometry techniques. The journal welcomes submissions from multiple research fields that fully embrace the study of the cytome: Biomedical Instrumentation Engineering Biophotonics Bioinformatics Cell Biology Computational Biology Data Science Immunology Parasitology Microbiology Neuroscience Cancer Stem Cells Tissue Regeneration In particular, Cytometry Part A embraces research on cellular heterogeneity, characterization of rare cell subpopulations, discovery, understanding functionality and tracing lineages of cellular phenotypes, and other emerging programmatic goals of single-cell biology. In addition, Cytometry Part A is particularly interested in research from biomedical disciplines and closely related life sciences on the following topics: Innovative applications of single-cell analysis to the various branches of life sciences, including genomics-, transcriptomics-, proteomics-, and metabolomics-based approaches; New single-cell analysis technologies based on flow and image cytometry, quantitative high-resolution microscopy, high-content screening, single-cell spectroscopies, microfluidics and microchip platforms, and single-cell gene-expression systems; Studies of cellular and molecular functions acquired in a cellular or multi-cellular context; Instrumentation and reagent developments relevant to the measurement of cells or cell constituents; Novel algorithmic and computational frameworks to support experimental procedures; Original data-science approaches (including machine learning, mathematical modeling, Big Data mining, pattern recognition, and biostatistics) relevant to the analysis, interpretation, and visualization of multidimensional single-cell measurements; New protocols and procedures for analysis of cell characteristics, constituents, and functions. Cytometry Part A publishes original research articles, technical innovation articles, in-depth reviews, single-cell analysis protocols, and data-processing pipelines and algorithms, as well as rapid communications highlighting new topics and groundbreaking technologies and their use in basic and applied research. |
